A House?

A House?

A Poem by Lanny
"

What is a house?

"

A house . . .

A box of things?

A house . . .

A giant crate love-filled?

A house . . .

A tensioned kit of opposites?

A house . . .

A structured enigma of mysterious riddles populated with conflict?

A house . . .

A construct refuge as haven?

A house . . .

A building decision the architect occupant wills.

and he or she can make that house be whatever he or she decide...it is how we treat the others in the house, how we treat ourselves, and how well we keep that house up---

excellent metaphor worked perfectly in this piece that proves "less is more"

you don't waste words!

I love this write, Lanny. Such an easy topic, that we so often take for granted, so simple, yet so profound in its explanation! Well done!

A house is a shelter to me. A place of sanctuary however grand or humble it may be. It's good to experiment.

Now i loved this conception and a well crafted stylish poem about the fundamentals of a house. Eloquently expressed and nicely done too.
