Scarlet secrets

Scarlet secrets

A Poem by IndigoChild

My precious secrets

Held in your hands

Scars on my heart

Precious roses

Our precious secrets

Keep filling our arms

There pouring out of me as you hold me

The waterfall is out of control but thats okay

Because you'll catch what I cant hold

You will hold me back from the edge

As I try to catch all of my precious secrets

The scars come and heal but I am still beautiful to you

The scars on my heart don't scare you

Even as they widen in the waterfall

You keep talking to me

So I don't get lost in the noise of my precious secrets

Even when my scarlet hands fight from yours

You keep holding me

Because all of my precious secrets

Are yours too

my waterfall Is mingled with your garden of roses

And together we make a secret bigger then the waterfall

More bold then blue roses

And in the end It gets bigger

Faster then all my scars

It is permanent

And it keeps me from falling apart

As the water from my secrets

Threatens to pull me away from you

But you haven't seen this garden or herd this waterfall

You don't know of all of the painful marks that cover me

All you do is hold me together

But thats okay with me because we still share a scarlet secret

And in the end thats all that matters
