You want me to say I love you

But I can only say I care

You want me to tell you all of my dreams

But I tell you, I don't dare

But this is as close as I can get

But I'm just not ready yet

But I'm not that kind of man

But it's love I can't return

The reason, I've hidden inside my heart

But I guess maybe most of all

No one ever steps into love

I've been on both sides. They do both suck. This was a great write. Music is my life and its a compliment when I think of a song in someones wrting. This reminds me of learning to fly by tom petty and he heartbreakers
