A Love Story
A Poem by Whiskurz
The stars reflect her beautyWhile competing for her smileEach one thinks her love is theirsWhile filled with blind denialShe continues to entice themAs each one feels her stareHer love belongs to all of themBut none will choose to shareA falling star is nothing moreThan a star with a broken heartCrippled by her rejectionIt will suddenly fall apartWhenever you see a twinkling starIt's just the Lover's danceVying for her attentionIn its quest to find romanceThe Dippers, both big and smallWere formed to quench her thirstThey stand in line to honor herAs they battle to be the firstThe Northern Star takes precedenceAs he points which way to goHis countenance is blindingAs he absorbs her radiant glowSo, don't forget to watch the starsAnd smile each time they swoonFor now you know this love storyBetween the stars and moon

I was really caught up in this piece. The flow was effortless to read and the story was building with each line. So nice.
