The Crash Test Dummy

The Crash Test Dummy

A Poem by Whiskurz

When two people get married in wedded bliss
The groom will change his name
For now he's called "The Crash Test Dummy"
And his wife is always the blame

When a man marries his beloved bride
And she doesn't know how to cook
He'll have to test those recipes from hell
That come from some stupid book

And of course, that means food poisoning
And a trip to the emergency room
Remember I said, "Crash Test Dummy"
Cause he's no longer the groom

And when she asks if she's getting fat
He'll probably tell her the truth
Well that's another trip to the dentist
'Cause he's lost another tooth

And now that leaves his mother-in-law
The biggest danger of all
For when she comes, she'll never leave
So he bangs his head on the wall

That's why we call him "The Crash Test Dummy"
Because marriage is a pretty rough ride
For he'll stay swollen, bruised and battered
When he marries his beloved bride

This was hilarious. And Oh, so true! Fun piece to read and mull over...as long as you have your helmet on, of course.
