Alone

Alone

A Poem by Laura3841

Alone between four walls

wishing the space around me were friendly

Swallowed by a constant void

that should be filled with laughter and voices

I reach out to love and hold someone

only to find myself playing solitaire

I absorb the absence of your touch

as I hug myself in silence.

Emotions're burnt through the flames of love so the poor love gets arisen from the grave of feelings... but when it reaches out to the edge of 'extreme', heart finds itself damn lone across the saddest streets of life. In other words, heart needs love but the love needs soul n when the spirits looks desperate to have both, life gets confused to choose what it all needs to breathe.

P.s I know, My review may sound a bit weird to you but I only said what the title of the write brought me to pen on. However, your poem's too very good full of your emotions n longing feelings to love. Keep writing!
