The lord of all things broken

The lord of all things broken

A Poem by LauraOyeghe
"

...who does that?...The lord of all things broken!

"

Who gives destruction as a token?
Who shatters the rain of peace to pieces like a child's rashes?
Who renders the wall of unity to ashes?
Albeit, the Lord Of All Things Broken!
When the sky roars in thunders,
Tiny loud strikes steal into the roof of men,
And divides the sons from their mothers.
The sword becomes mightier than the pen,
Elucidating war and chivalrous deaths.
Anxiety and hoisted anger in words spoken;
Armies of animals and men in battlefield like crooners with frets;
For albeit the commander, The Lord Of All Things Broken!
Dreams and wishes,
Fame and riches,
He turns them all to mistakes and broken stitches.
Songs and pitches,
But lamentations and woes are all he teaches;
Albeit the man of craft; The Lord Of All Things Broken!
To life he added death,
To perfection, he added sin,
And antimony he brought between heaven and earth,
Blinded by his words, we are deceived by what we see.
Angels and demons,
Heaven and Hades,
Sacrifices and sermons,
Holy men and Jezebelian ladies,
Who gives the contrast as a token?
Albeit the Lord Of All Things Broken!
Collapsed churches,
Divorced marriages,
From the north, evil lurches with shinning torches,
Pregnant gospel to be delivered now come with miscarriages;
Peace and impunity is stolen;
Albeit by the Lord Of All Things Broken.

But when all men shall gather;
Praying in faith to their father.
The earth shall pass away,
Leaving all evil men purged.
And in just one day,
All men shall be judged.
For behold the thorn he has inserted in men's flesh shall he be choken,
And finally, dead shall be the Lord Of All Things Broken!
