The Night Train

The Night Train

A Poem by Lawerence Rowe
"

A poem about dreaming.

"

On darkened rail
through moonless night,
the night train comes
with its headlamp bright.

What follows behind
in cars filled with dreams,
is full of fantasies
and nightmare fiends.

At your station it stops
the conductor cries "All aboard!"
you climb the stairs
as the train pulls foward.

You must  find your car
be in it friend or foe,
for your dreams start here
in that bright headlamp glow.
