Unrequited Love

Unrequited Love

A Poem by Lawerence Rowe
"

A poem of romance and love.

"

I love a woman

though she does not know it,

I want to catch her heart

but she does not throw it.

I love her like

the plants love the Sun,

she does not know

that my hearts on the run.

It runs to her

every morning and night,

with tingles and twinges

that make me feel just right.

To wake up and think

of her on the morn,

while sweet dreams of her

do soften the nights scorn.

I love a woman

though she knows it not,

maybe one day I win

her heart, where love is wrought.

i also really love this write as well, very well constructed and fluent. It's hard to make metaphors that perfectly fit the spot but you seem to not have had a problem finding them ! hope to see more from you :P
