Someday

Someday

A Poem by Lawerence Rowe

Someday I won’t need to hear
“I love you”
That’s just fine.
Someday I won’t need to hold you,
“oh so tight”
And that’s just fine.

Someday I’ll sit back and think
“there she was”
That’s just fine.
Someday I’ll remember when
“she was there”
And that’s just fine.

Someday those days will come, but
“she’s still here”
That’s just fine.
Someday may never come
“Stay with me.”
And she’ll say “that’s just fine”.
