Armoured love

A poem about the many faces of love, its ups and downs, sadness and joys.

 

Love is a virtue that only the brave can know.

It is not for the meek or the faint hearted.

Neither is it for the selfish or self-righteous.

Love does not belong to anyone person nor can it be borrowed or bought, for it is priceless!

Love is not forced �" it’s a force!

Love is not for those who seek �" it not found in a particular place or resides on a particular face.

You may seek love, but be sure it  always finds you when you least expect.

You see, love is like a warrior fighting many wars to claim it’s victory.

Love makes heroes of the faceless and champions of the nameless.

Yes, this thing called love will introduce you to so many faces.

Loves makes fools of us all, even the mighty that stand tall.

Love is for the brave and courageous.

It will test you, push you to unimaginable heights.

Love will walk you through the fire; it will torch you and sometimes scorch you!

Love will dare you to do the unthinkable so you can achieve the inconceivable.

Love defies all logic and disregards all prudence.

Love will challenge you to be the best that you can be.

Love will make you strong, invincible almost.

With love on your side you will single handily defeat the devil;

For love is courageous; it gives the weak strength and a voice to the voiceless.

Love makes kings of commoners.

Love will bring tears to the eyes of the strong and mighty.

It makes grown men cry and melts even the iciest of hearts.

Love turns boys into men and little girls into women.

Love turns non-believers into believers.

Like a roller coaster, love will take you through many highs and lows.

But never fear; love will ensure that you reach your destination.

Love makes dreamers of those who dare;

It makes even the hardened souls care.

Love inspires us, it encourages us to do all and be all.

Love will take you on many adventures,

making every experience your biggest venture.

Love will teach you many lessons that no text book or classroom ever could.

With love you can achieve everything; love empowers.

Love is your impenetrable armour; ware it on if you dare!
