Proud, Defeated, Missing, Completed.

Proud, Defeated, Missing, Completed.

A Poem by Calming Tornado

Now I feel proud,
I feel free, and defeated,
Trapped in a shroud of pain, warm and heated,
Left for dead in a chamber of gladness,
Protected and loved in a prison of sadness.
The fragile heart cannot make up its mind,
True love,
Why are you so hard to find,
Am I in despair,
Or have I been done justice?
Are you an oppressor, or a love that I must miss?
Now I feel lost,
I feel home, and unwanted,
Wrapped in a blanket, of sorrow and bloodshed,
Kissed and caressed in a bed made of lies,
Welcomed, in a stronghold that's haunted with cries.
The fragile heart cannot make up its mind,
True love,
Why are you so hard to find,
Am I in despair,
Or have I been done justice?
Are you an oppressor, or a love that I must miss?
Now I feel missing,
Confused and rebellious,
I long for an answer,
Why am I so curious?
We once made love in the night and vowed love,
So why can I not choose whether it was enough?
The fragile heart cannot make up its mind,
True love,
Why are you so hard to find,
Am I in despair,
Or have I been done justice?
Are you an oppressor, or a love that I must miss?
