Sad but true to use a Metallica song title. Patton said, "Compared to war, all other efforts of human endeavor shrink to insignificance." Mankind is a beast of prey. We kill. It's what we do. It's why our eyes are in the front of our head. We focus, we track, we hunt, we kill. As long as there are men willing to kill or die to take away what you have; there must be men willing to kill or die to protect it. But fossil fuel is bad. I favor hydrogen, solar and wind power to produce electricity and power vehicles. All our electricity burns on coal, for example. Coal produces CO2 no matter what. We kill the planet and...we all die. I think we should focus on alternative energy sources and let the middle east EAT their oil.
