Another old piece found. This was going to be part of something bigger I had planned on titling "Black On White", but never got around to writing it. Has to do with writer's block I suppose.

The Well of My Life

 

 

Where the ink

          Once ran,

It is now barren.

Where the thought

          Once roamed,

Lies emptiness.

Where the dream

          Once flew,

Stands a vacant sky.

 

The ink well ran dry,

The well of my life.

Raw depiction of the resurrection. I've felt this many times. Though very strangely, within a period of time, It rains ink, thoughts haunt and I begin to grow wings :) :)
