The Stranger

The Stranger

A Poem by Lei
"

Ever ask yourself, who am I?

"

Most want the world to see them, I only need one receiver. One to hear my inner cries of the thought that control the ‘’who I am’’ even if I don't know who that person is just yet. ''The stranger inside me''. The one that embraces all my darkest secrets... the regrets, the accomplishments, the many in betweens'... yearning for the identity within me to reveal itself, so I, for once, can live. Hold me softly my love, even if I am a stranger. I just need you, purpose.

Nicely captured Lei. I think no matter who we are or what we surround ourselves with, whether it be solitude or a crowd, we all want to find this, and for his to find us in one person, who can be the answer to our questions or the silence we require.
A great start to your journey here on writerscafe. Oh, and welcome :)
