THE INNER

THE INNER

A Poem by LekANTIC

I work in an Inn.
Though, the pay is a pin
At least I've something to feed
Survival is an important creed.

I work in an Inn;
Where sitting around is a sin,
Customers you've to please,
To have a kiss of bliss.

I work in an Inn,
Next to a graceful miss;
Who likes that I'm bard
And loves a lanky lad.

I work in an Inn,
I serve people as kings,
But I believe soon,
I will be served too.

it's nice though i felt something was a miss, kinda expected something more in the middle or the end to give it that 'bang'.
