The Art of Heartbreak

The Art of Heartbreak

A Poem by Leo Allen

Like clouds,
Some will rain.

But with every storm
Or line break,
I'll remain
Yours to take.

You have tried to say goodbye.
Things were different once.
What a waste, all these months.
They say words lie.

What a shame,
After all this time,
You are no longer mine.
Perhaps I'll forget your name.

Dump your heart
Now that it's said and done -
Journey for a new one.
They say pain is an art.
