All In a Tone

All In a Tone

A Poem by LeslieNoel
"

I hate arguing and so decided to turn it in a poem to cope.

"
Biting words can leave a mark
When you snap off a few torpedoes in my direction
They have teeth, those words
Explicit in their meaning
Gnawing at my feelings
Sinking their razor sharps into my humanity
Leaves a bruise
Tiny marks left behind long after they have been flung
It's a reminder that I carry around
To be careful of my approach of you
And remind myself of the peril of your voice
