Night Glitter

I live across from a big field and I love seeing the beauty of fireflies during the summer months.

Magic lights the night

In tiny spectacles that flash and sparkle

Brilliantly in a second's time

One goes out only to be replaced

By another

The dark field is ablaze

From the dazzling escapades

Of nature's bright fireworks
