A rose so sweet
It’s petals in bloom
Reminds me of someone I lost too soon
The flower glistens just like her heart
It is sad that now we have to part
Her beauty lies on in the flowers like these
And each holds a special memory
Of the woman who shared
Her name with the rose
She’s reborn each time a flower grows
And out of the soil it proudly shows
