To Learn

The stars showed me his words

and his wonder

They drew the past and the future

His words melted within my fingers

Stars will teach

 but only to those

who listen

Not just those who listen

but those who look to them and seek

Still, only two will hear his wonder

only one will understand

For the stars only show what they believe

Never, will they break it down

not for you, nor me

For that is against their nature

they will show, but rarely

and what they do show

is never for anyone but themselves

To see this is to understand

not them, but yourself

To understand yourself is only

what they ask

But it is the hardest thing

yo will ever do
