Writers Block

Sorry but It would appear I am suffering from writers block on this latest challenge. Many will cheer, others will say, "meh". But I wrote a poem as to why I can't put those three words together.

 

Can't see a story, cant feel that glory.

The words I see them, but they just wont  connect.

The marble sinks to dark depths, it's beauty hidden from plain sight.

Coconuts float and swirl in my imagination without meaning,

my desire to capture them and split them, does not exist.

The bluebird soars above it all, into another medium.

It too tells me no tales.

Today I am a man without a soul,

An empty vessel on the cusp of hell.

I'm sure we all go through this from time to time. I do as well. Under "Courses" at the top of the page there is a course you can read about this. It does offer helpful suggestions.

meh ;)
i hate writers block. at first it's wonderful. freedom. a chance to do what needs doing- but, eventually, it's hell.
as writer's block goes though, it's inspired a pretty good poem.
