Things I LoveA Poem by Letemdangle
A twisted road that is made straight by a car evolved.
A straight path that twists and turns as I walk. The challenge to climb a hill or mountain, then glide down the other side. The ease to travel straight through a mountain and the relief I feel, that I survived. Hot sun rays on cold winter's days. Cool winds and shade to protect me from the summer's heat rays. Hot water showers, early on, a cold weather morning. Frozen ice crystals floating in my beer as the head is foaming. The green grass growing in a parched landscape. The brown grass showing as glaciers melt. The colors of tulips and crocuses when frost dissipates. The vibrant hues of mums, when frost first felt. Whirlwind trans ocean rides. I travel fast and seal the deal. Slow and restful cruise ship times. I take the time and enjoy the meal. Roughing it out in a tent, Exploring natures gifts. Spending a night in a five star hotel, Suckling from a high priced w***e's tit. A fast paced film full of death and debauchery. A book of love, full of sentiment and sacrifice. My home clean tidy and organized. My life messy, challenging and in need of attention. A wife who is sad, weak and needy, so I can hold her tight. A wife who is happy, strong and self sufficient, so she can hold me tight. Puppies who train me to love them. Old dogs who say good bye. Great teachers that forgive our ignorance. Great students that over look our faults. Public officials who uphold the law. Private individuals who fight for justice despite the law. I love the Sun, the Earth, the Moon, the Planets. I love the plants, the animals, the earth and water. The things I do not love reside within the fault of man. For which I am not the judge. © 2011 LetemdangleAuthor's Note
