Lip SmackA Poem by Letemdangle
I stumbled up the crooked stairs,
Opened the door, to my comfort room. Made my way to my bedpost, I recalculated, I pondered of what I was and from whom. The moonlight shone upon a valley, My destiny was clear, my motions were weary. I the man who lost his way, did see before him, a path that was clear. Lip smack, lip smack. I first followed the right side, then followed the left. Until I was head strong, in where I found breath. The end of the road, was the beginning of life. I did see the sun the moon and the stars. I tasted it freely, as an angel sang from above. Lip smack, lip smack. Like a great explorer, I dug carefully, surgically, Deep as could be, as great marble columns, rose high above my head. They trembled as the earth did shake, Until they collapsed upon my back, their final resting place. I rose above and admired the land. The land did smile to me and fell fast asleep. Her skin soft, her heart nurture fulfilling. Lip smack, lip smack. © 2011 LetemdangleReviews
