A Child's Bewildered Eyes

A Child's Bewildered Eyes

A Poem by Letemdangle
"

A Christmas poem

"

Small hands reach large hands, awaiting Santa
Heart beats faster, nose runs, closer I get.
Sweating like an African savannah,
Santa scoops me on knee, lickety-split

My hand lost in the shredded white curtain
Bloated belly back rest, arching my back
Shyly think of wants, baffled, uncertain
Santa smiles, flash, kiss from Mommy, smack

Shocked, feet grounded, just met a magic man
Effortlessly was put under his spell
Hour later, leaving store with Mom, eyes pan,
Notice the good old Father, Saint Noel

Beard hanging from pocket, no Christmas cheer,
Just fat and sweaty, nose deep in his beer.

My best achievement in life is never having killed anyone. My nickname is not to make you think I am morbid, I use it as a symbol of injustice. Let him dangle is a song about injustice from Elvis Cos.. more..
