Me

Me

A Poem by Liderien

Majestic lucent of azure

Pervaded flames singe the ruins

Wisps of luminous earth swirl

Dancing to the path of night

The Nebulous sound of her armored soul

She foresees he may discern

But how I ask could this be
When so many times I've burned
Burned and fell upon the swords
Of so many corrupt words
Smashed to bits I have my fits
And let nobody see
Their rotten deeds might feed the seeds
Of my hanging tree
But if I let in the light
The Path he just might see
Foreswear the night
I get it right
And choose now to be free

Difficult to rate. If I get this one wrong its per-sonal. Being Afrikaans I don't know half the words and even a thorough google session im not much wiser... Some fires are best appreciated at night.

Powerful and beautiful words made this poem amazing. I had to read out loud for the pleasure of the words. Thank you for the amazing poetry.

She thinks he may notice that she
has erected security to protect her
soul. Why is he concerned ? Does he
want her soul, or does he want her
at the cost of her soul ?
A dilemna !
