She opened the sarcophagus to a crack

The silence was deafening

The darkness never ending

 

She entered the void

Searching for the unknown

Refusing to believe the emptiness

 

She saw glimmers of light in the void

Not realising it was her light

Reflected by a creature’s eyes

 

She approached the light

Hoping to find the unknown

She found the creature

 

She spoke tender words

That awoken the core of the creature

An unknown feeling coursed through the creature

 

The creature struck by her beauty

The purity of her light

Lusting for same

 

She saw the reflecting light

She lured the creature to her

Expecting to find a soul

 

The creature felt her warmth

All his senses being overpowered

Edging closer to her light

 

Entering the light

The creature panicked

Returning to its nature

 

The creature struck her

Destroying everything that was

That would have been in a second

 

Returning to its void

The creature longed for warmth

Grasping same was lost for eternity
