Find Me

Find Me

A Poem by Lighthouse Call

Like all the leaves that, fall off a tree
Like all the glasses, downed and empty
Flames die off candles, light disappears
Eyes start to water, dropping down tears

Sight becomes blurry, my path I lose
I do not stand here, ready to choose
Which side will I take, will you lift off my pain?
Then you would find me, over and over, again

Angel on my shoulder, fighting the devil
Words come between us, on a different level
I'm not afraid, I've got nowhere to go
Nothing behind me,  'cause I'm all alone

I lost my sight, and I'm loosing my mind
Wherever you're looking, I'm nowhere to find
Look inside my soul, and lift off my pain
Then you would find me, over and over, again
Over and over, again.
Over and over, again.

I could very easily hear this being sung as a song. I really like the first stanza, it sets the mood for the poem brilliantly. Great work.

I could practically hear this being a song...:D So beautiful, I love the last two lines repeated, it adds intensity. I like this a lot, the pain is expressed very well. Fantastic piece :)
