Anger

Anger,

Like fear,

It devours the mind.

It starts as a small flame

Deep within the heart.

If that flame

Is left untamed,

You will suffer the consequenses;

As will many others.

For soon,

When fed by insult and fear, even,

It will only take seven,

Seven seconds for it to spread.

Then your mind will not be your mind.

Your soul won't know what to do.

Only your heart you can trust.

Only your heart can stop it

Before it thrusts

And lashes out at the ones you love.
