Merry Go Rollercoaster

Another poem quite personal to me, don't call the police or something, nobody died

Riding around on a merry go round attached to a roller coaster
Soon enough, I again get hit by regret and sadness
I ask myself why I did such a thing yet I do it again

This is interesting. Merry go around and a roller coaster... attached?! Thats a scary ride. Doing something that you regret yet you do it again, could it be because of the thrill of the danger you put yourself in and you liked the risk? Roller coasters are often a symbol for the turmoil we face in life i think. Like the saying " my life is a roller coaster." Merry go round has the word "merry" meaning happy. When you put these two rides together, a turbulent roller coaster and a exciting merry go round, the end result is a mess. Thats my little interpretation of your poem :) You say alot in just a few words!
