Listen to the Words Unspoken

Listen to the Words Unspoken

A Poem by The Boring One
"

Everyone has their problems. Sometimes they are just to scared to say them. They need help. So take the chance to reach out to them

"

Maybe if they listened

To the words that go unspoken

Then they would see

That we are all broken

Maybe if they looked

Into the eyes that hold no warmth

Then they would see

That we need someone with emotion

Maybe if they spoke

To the quiet weary soul

Then they would see

That we need them after all

Maybe if they felt

That our hearts are truly frozen

Then they would see

That we hide out of fear of them

Maybe if they realized

That we beg for kindness

Then they would see

There is a meaning to our silence

Maybe if they looked at us

The broken, weary souls with no emotion in our frozen hearts
The ones who can't speak up

The ones who can't speak out

Then they would see

That they are the ones who pushed us down

And maybe they wouldn't care

And they'd laugh at our misery

And they'd crush our hopes and dreams

And they'd leave us alone to weep

But maybe if they listened

To the words that go unspoken

Then they would see

That we are all broken

And maybe that would be

All the push they need

To help us stand back up

And heal our broken hearts

Cool. I like this. But some people won't let anyone reach out to them. Just saying. ^_^

I'm a high school junior. I don't have a very exciting life, and I live in a small town. I'm just the boring one. The one you wouldn't look twice at. The nothing. The one who sits locked away with boo.. more..
