Nothingness. A Poem for My Father.

Nothingness. A Poem for My Father.

A Poem by Lilith

It no longer feels so nice.

The needle has lost it's vice.

Never has the world seemed so bland

As I stand in the face of death.

Needing to catch my breath.

What have we here

Is the ending growing near.

Nothingness is what I fear.

Hold me up and give me strength

As I walk this road, at it's full length.

The wind promises bliss

It must have been a miss.

How could I ever attain this bliss?

The nothingness is what is meant for me

I still can't breathe.

I just have to believe,

That this isn't me.

One day I will be free,

To walk hand in hand with someone who is better than me.

Wonderful work
Love the following sentences:

"Hold me up and give me strength

As I walk this road, at it's full length."
