CHASING FOR GHOST

Can’t escape the past nor can I undo my choices.

I choose to love him dearly and see no other but him.

He fought my battles and made it his life’s purpose.

A grand gesture! So I fooled myself.
He has the kind of heart that can drive thy frosted heart to tears.

He’s kind like that.

Totally enchanting makes you question human kind again.

A rare breed! So I believed.
But he is broken just like the doll I own.

Had to go through hell in his past life that left him with a stitched heart,

That he’s so overprotective of.
I prayed for him.
I sought for him in my dreams.
I looked for him in my scenes.
And wished for him amid the stars.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think about him and cherish the sweet memories I had with him.

He left a hole in my heart that repulsed those who want in.

I hate him for that though.
He questioned my loyalty and commitment to him when he was the one that broke his promise first.

He never showed up again.

And left me chasing his ghost of yesterday when I could chase the lights of the day.
But I can no longer go through the same path as yesterday.

For my tomorrow is evolving to ashes.

And I need to harness the beauty from the darkness into my life to find greatness within my love.

I choose to move on and never look back.

As I can’t undo my choices and the life I've lived.

It hurts when one's heart is broken by someone one loves with everything.
It make weary the mind and make trust something that isn't real.
But I think it's a lesson meant to be learned,
It's part of experiences meant to be experienced.
As you've said, It can't be undone.
The best is to move on, mend the heart and hope for a better love that would understand.
