You are a Gem

When gem appraisers look at a gem

To make sure it is real,

They don't look at the quality of the cut,

Or the so called 'perfection

Of the gem.

Even the famous Hope Diamond.

The appraisers look for natures hand in the creation.

If it was made in a factory then the gem is...

Flawless.

If nature has created it then there are...

Flaws.

These flaws are just a part of the gem.

They are an important part.

No one's perfect,

and nothing you do will ever be perfect.

Just think of yourself as a precious gem,

Your flaws make you real,

Not something produced in a factory.
