I hate it when you get frustrated

Over things that aren't for you

I hate it when you get upset

When you have to ignore

I know I cannot control you

But it eats at me anyway

I hate it when you're giving up

Because I feel the same way

Passionate poem that really speaks to how the person feels, without giving precise details so that it can suit all readers and audiences. My only suggestion, though please don't change the original, is to perhaps have "Over things that aren't for you," rhyme with "When you have to ignore," as this will help continue the feel and flow throughout the whole poem. You have a very strong ending with well written words, thanks for sharing and hope if this is about someone that they will learn how to not give up!

When you write, "I hate it when you're giving up because I feel the same way," you are actually finding some common ground. That can be looked at two ways: 1) something to build upon, or...2) the final cut. A very intriguing piece, you leave it up to the reader to devise the end game. Well done! take care...dan
