Kiss Me (A Kiss Farewell)

Kiss Me (A Kiss Farewell)

A Poem by Linda

1.The poison courses through my veins,

2. Numbing the tears, the sadness, and all my pain.

3. Love; it’s so strong.

4.It’s life.

5.Its death!

6. Please

7.Hold me until I take my final breath.

8.If you are quiet, you can hear my heart beat to its end.

9.Oh, my Juliet! Don’t cry.

10.For you and I shall meet again.

11.Now, before my soul ends its life,

12.And goes to a place that’s so confined,

13. I have one request to know your mine.

14.Kiss me.

15. Before it’s too late.

16.Kiss me, so I don’t forget

17.The happiest moments in my days.

18. Remind me of a place of bliss,

19.In your arms,

20.With a farewell kiss.

So beautiful, the feeling was excellent throughout the poem... Reminds me something of Browning's "The Last Ride Together".... Innocence attached with this one, a last kiss could the memories alive for a long time.... Well done...

I like the structure and flow of the poem...
