Protocol For Goodbye

Protocol For Goodbye

A Poem by Avoiry
"

I have anxiety and it gets worse when there is no set route of action. Just wrote this little tid bit about unscripted exits and goodbyes. Everyone says it differently which can lead to some anxiety

"

Your judgment steps

Hands, embrace, or do we just escape?

What do you want?

What do I give?

I sit on a sill

And still I watch you

Watching me

In breach of protocol

Exit stage left

Or was I right to drop the door?

Fall through the floor

To escape your lack of rules

Breaching me

Beseeching me

For a stand against free will

Goodbye

I'm Sorry

It's the pits having Anxiety. I have Hypertension bad . I cant help I have it. My gosh there for awhile it was scary shaking like crazy like I had MS. And if it ever got to the max id feel a panic attack. Some just don't understand. I do all in my power to control all with breathing Faith beauty, but it's a sickness lives with you. Great write:)

Anxiety sucks. I know all too well. Great poem.

A telling piece that makes the reader think of obscurity within ones own mind, well done.

Choices pre-made, the script written in permanent marker, the unblinking observer hanging over shoulder and judging, jeering. Flaws plucked from the floor and shoved in face, a finger in the chest and a vice around the temples. Anxiety burns, furiously. Excellent poem, Lindsey :)

I like it, first and foremost. An instance in brevity that reminds me of me. The way it rhymes unexpectedly keeps me speaking. Lines 11-14 strike me, particularly.

Ok, i enjoyed this. its was short, but inspired. you brought a tough moment to life with words, and did so so well I was wondering about protocol myself and whether or not I should ask before writing you to tell you how much I liked it. lol Well done. You can count me as a fan.

That's a different way to look at it to make it more broad. Very true though.
