Dear Gravity,

Release your forceful bonds, your iron grip. Set me free, allow me to float up and away from her judgemental stare. I want to soar into the sky, becoming one with the stars; blinking and shimmering within the night sky, a neighbor to the milky way. We can laugh together with the man in the moon, safe within our galaxy, swathed tightly with light. Observing the antics of shooting stars and shining moonbeams, nothing can touch us. Let the sun engulf me, infusing my form with the warmth of a thousand brilliant summers, melting the ice of my mother's glare.
