She

She

A Poem by Little Birdie
"

Her eyes were the city lights.

"

She had eyes like early mornings

and a calculating smile.

She was my perpetrator,

my sense of security.

Hair was struck and paled

by sunshine.

Bitter, sour, unforgiving

her eyes were the city lights.

She was the hurricane.

Gentle. Alluring. Elegant.

She had eyes like morning glory

and a feisty avalanche mind.

She was the northern lights

the autumn wind

the age-old history

the salt to an open wound

She had eyes like most defiant storms

and temper of burnt ice

She was the mountain air

She was the morning sun

You're very descriptive in your words and you paint an excellent picture in my mind of her. I like how you focused on all aspects of her, because most people just list what's so amazing and stuff like that. You captured her. All of her. Very pretty.

At times attraction is more worthy than love. It describes a person very truly as you did in your words. Love your writing dear!
