Helix

Helix

A Poem by Write4theSky

True words crack on plain type

Supple fruit, overripe.

Doctor kind, names his price

Will, he asks, death suffice?

Hear the laughs, hide the cry.

Balance folds, forget why.

Angels fall, sun will rise

Baby born, someone dies.

Waging war, hating fight

Yin-yang asks, black or white?

Equal means just to me

Counterparts both live free.

Kicked dog leaks silent yelp

Trash caught by native kelp.

Jagged glass, graceful sea

Can scars change to beauty?

Falling waves, sure to soar

Wear what’s left, wanting more.
