My Lover and Me

My Lover and Me

A Poem by S. Waldo

My lover and me dance through space
Like the earth and moon
Caught in a lasting embrace.
Revolving around one another, day by day
Like the moon, he affects my ebb and flow
My emotions, they rise and fall.

But day by day,
And night by night
We dance
Like the earth and moon, revolving around another
Making each feel right

So honest and full of real emotion! Almost feels as if it's a song but better!
