A Quick Fix

A Quick Fix

A Poem by Jonathon Wood

Their voices are bane causing her once free spirit to be tamed. She lies in wait as time flees from her. Each fleeting moment lasting no more than a second. Lucifer beckons her to commit to the thorns that somehow fit. Suddenly a smile is shone her way, and for a moment the abyss is lit. Then just as quick she needs her fix and is yet again thrown away.
