Sweet Innocence

for Sharaya:

Dearest
Denim-eyed butterfly baby

With creamy skin, so tender sweet

Your heavenly gaze melts

Every heart you capture by your presence

And without spoken word

Your beautiful innocence

Whispers purity

While you snuggle beneath

White folded wing.

children are so innocent, but unfortunately they cannot stay like that all of their lives, because this world has nothing to offer except corruption and taint. very nice

A poem full of innocence, unconditional love - nothing in this world can compare to the little ones in our life.

I love the photograph~ what a beautiful baby! The poem capture the innocent and preciousness of a newborn.
I love babies and everything about them, their smell and their little fingers and toes, so sweet.

You've captured so much in so few words ... Excellent writing!
