The words i wish you'd hear

a poem i wrote a while after breaking up with my ex girlfriend that was cheating on me and seeing another guy

I thought i moved on already 

I thought it was easy, it was fast 

I never thought the smile i gave you would be my last 

you were once my bestfriend 

but then i decided to cross the line 

i never knew it was wrong to make you mine 

you're living your life already 

while my heart's craving for you 

i'm in pieces now and there's nothing i could do 

i thought we were made for each other 

it's too bad that you lied 

and now i'm left with all these tears that i'm trying to hide 

someone once said before 

you choose the love you think you deserve 

so you chose him instead, now all i can do is observe 

is he the next one you'll cheat on 

or was i just a toy 

i wouldn't blame you for that, i'm just a tool that people enjoy 

i'm just so sad that i loved you

and i still do 

and so disappointed that i believed you loved me too 

i wish you find happiness

i hope you get fixed 

cause all what you've done is just get my feelings mixed
