Valentines Day, a day for lovers,

but what about those who have no other?

For single people who dread this day,

and try to kid themselves love will come their way.

For those who have admired from afar,

be brave on this day and say who you are.

You tell yourself its just a day,

and very soon it will go away.

The romantic meals and hearts and flowers,

all just for twenty four hours. 

For those who have lost their lover,

carry them in your heart, as there will never be another.

And if they hurt you - let them go,

for when true love comes, you will know.

Be glad you are single and all alone,

But don't let your heart turn to stone.
