Boredom

Boredom

A Poem by LouieBee
"

I was bored at work. No pain. No tears. No blood. No ex-gfs. No whining. Just boredom.

"

Stem from unfortunate reliance

That seeks reappearance within

Moderate assumptions of worth.

Given our Hours to live

A task that always seems due.

Our hearts care to give

A gift of life, a gift of something to do.

I can’t resist.

I can assure, in time

that I

will be needed.

I feel like you're waiting for something... anything to happen where you can do something and while waiting... you're in one of those contemplative moods and get all poetic with everything... good one. ^_^

1 of 1 people found this review constructive.

this is simple and at the same time quite profound.

on a different level, boredom is a metaphor for waiting to do whatever that thing is going to be that will make us remembered...the reason we are here on earth---

what is our special purpose?

will we ever know what it is? will we ever achieve it?

we never know...but try to assure ourselves that we will be needed in time.

nice
