Equality?

Equality?

A Poem by Double_Entendre

Striving for equality,

losing all formality.

Making a mockery,

without any quandary.

Focused on what’s wrong,

losing sight erelong.

This worlds twisting,

it’s blistering.

They know right?

So, ‘Let’s fight.’

Tell ‘equal rights?’

Laws aren’t as tight?

Get away with so much,

appease them: lose all touch.

Don’t say anything,

else you’ll be penalized.

Why’s our civil liberty,

no longer can be utilized?

Sounds like a critique of militant identity politics, which is always focused on what's wrong.
