Tell Me

Tell Me

A Poem by Megan Wylder

The hurricane seems to be letting go

The worst of the storm over with

Letting up the grip over the sun

Clouds parting to the sky

Birds opening up thier shelters

Rivers going down

The floods washing away

Tell me this will last

A sence of hope long past

No more moonless night

Things going right

Tell me this will last

The world not going to fast

Forgetting right and wrong

Can only go on for so long

The hurricane seems to be letting go

The worst of the storm over with

Tell me this will last

very strong images you've created. the rhyming was good even though it was off in some places, or maybe that was your intention. anyways the reader can relate to this on every level. great job! :)
