The Gun

I see my life flash before my eyes

Heart feels like it is no more

Death rolling over my body

As if omeone had killed me

Shot me with a gun

 

I cannot see

Around me

Just darkness and pain

Pain I have never felt

Pain that is unworldly

Help me

Am I in a nightmare

Or is this the real thing

 

I finally see

Before me

A man with a gun

I look to the sky

The clouds turn gray

As if it was the end of the day

I close my eyes

What happens now?

Things in life come at you at record speed and this piece hits hard. The imagery is a flowing of the colors gray, dark red and midnight black; very dramatic. This definitely caught my eye!
