     Someone helped me to understand. So I'll hold my wounds and scars deep inside. Your twisted tongue and slight of hand. You'd think I would slip like smoke into the sky.

     But I wish you could hear me say, I will hold on with all my might. To your lies I wont fade away. In your dark I will fight to be the light. Can't you remember a day without rain? I'm still here, I'll never fade.

     If everything had been revealed to me, I would still love you.

     If I knew then what I know to be, I would still hold you.

     If I could just make you see, I would show you love true.

     If I could make you believe, I would help you shine through.

     Someone helped me to understand. So I'll take a breath and hold on tight. I'm finding my way back to sanity. I'll turn my face to the sun and spin 'round one more time.
